Maria T. Ochoa, MD (she/her) is a Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the Keck School of Medicine USC. She joined the Department of Dermatology at Keck Medicine of USC in 2011 after 10 years of practice at another academic institution.
Dr. Ochoa provides dermatology services for the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of general skin diseases such as acne, eczema, skin cancer and psoriasis, among others. Her clinical and research interest center around infectious diseases of the skin, including the diagnosis and treatment of patients with skin manifestations of HIV, tropical dermatology (skin infectious diseases acquired abroad), and sexually transmitted diseases. She is part of the Dermatology team in the multidisciplinary Keck Gender Affirming Care Program, including care for the LGTBQ+ community.
Dr. Ochoa sees patients in the private practice settings at Keck Medicine of USC - Beverly Hills, Healthcare Center 4 on the Health Sciences Campus and at LAC+USC Medical Center where she serves as the Director of the Thomas Rea Hansen's Disease Clinic. Dr. Ochoa provides telemedicine consults to patients in California.
